Dragons never polymorphed. White wyrms, I remember reading about but I'm not sure I ever saw.

Ill go look for some information if its out there.

I do specifically remember fighting dragons and them turning into humans. it was really common, and happend all the time. more common then the lamma vortex imo.

their paperdoll called them "Mystic Llama Herders" if you double clicked them out of combat mode before they transformed back. The effect did not last very long.

Dragons don't cast level 7 spells though since they mostly spawn with around 50 magery or so. A freshly spawned WW or a trained dragons hould be able to cast polymorph though, I do remember this.

it was AWs that turned into "mystic Llama Herders" They had a very aggresive casting AI in that form and would tele all over casting back to back FS and crap. They did that quite often. Even the tame ones. I never saw a drag or WW do that.

Quin you're thinking past our era. No monster could cast teleport during our era. And Tekai, for what it's worth, all of those links in the other post are past our era.

Definitely out of era then I guess. Just cause AWs couldn't be tamed for as long as I played production shards (97-02)

LOL I missed that part about the "tame" ones.

I believe one AW was tamed, once actually, on Atlantic I think. I forget the details, but I think it had a 5-letter all-caps name, like "ORDER" or something like that.

There was one on greatlakes as well, it was owned by Sintil.

I don't believe it was accually the spell polymorph, but just something that happend. They only turned into humans.

My hunch is that because the two people who remember this either

(a) also "remember" tame ancient wyrms teleporting around
or
(b) said they'd get more information but only came up with screenshots from late 2000 of a white wyrm polymorphing

Yeah, my recollection of it wasn't during T2A as I never had the expansion pack until after UO:R. It did happen but I can't say if it happened in era.
