just wondering if this was here?
Fur Fur This became a rare item when fur giving animals were mutated into hide giving animals. Furs can sometimes be found as loot on some NPC's though. 10 stones

Simple "yes" or "no" is good. I already know where to look. Thanks in advance.

I have never seen nor heard of this and if it was so I don't think the price of furs would be so high.

I have no idea where Stratics got this from. I never once saw a fur on an NPC corpse on OSI once they were no longer produced from skinning.

The only source I ever knew of for furs was skinning them from rabbits, bears, wolves, llamas, etc. prior to the patch. If they did spawn on NPCs after the patch it was extremely rare.

Once I logged into Baja because Pacific was down. I decided to go and do some NPC killing with a newbie char.

I wandered westwards from West Britain Bank and into the farming area - then I killed an NPC farmer who spawned in one of the houses up there.

The NPC farmer had a fur on his corpse.

This was the only time I ever saw a fur on an NPC corpse - who knows how long the NPC/fur was there for though, it could have been months...
