yup,

just wished to know wich way i have to recreate the keys of the inside doors of a 2 story? i made the mistake to make it public to give it a try before to do a ringkey of all those (keys). So that now i cannot lock the doors of the different rooms ofthe house. Any solution?

Double click the main house key and target an internal door. A key for that door will be created in your pack.

On this topic...I seem to recall that you couldn't lock internal doors unless your house was public. But that if you had a public house, internal doors could be locked. Was this an AI thing or a UO:R thing or what?

You can lock the doors in a private house. I kept the internal doors of my old L-shape locked all the time. One room had my wep/armor storage in it, and the other was full of non-locked down items just for deco (I ran out of LD's because of my armory room).

Once the house is public you can no longer create internal door keys. So, the way to fix this is:
make the house private
2 click the main key and target the door (for both internal doors)
then make the house public again

Is this even accurate? I don't remember the internals of a public home ever being lockable. Seems like switching from private to public nullified the keys in circulation and released the locks on all doors.
