and by the time my client had loaded the arena it was good as over.

and i normally have better latency than most players???

could there be like a 30second start time, combined with a command where if every one says "ready" it will start right away???

I found that 90% the people on this server are assholes and will ruin this shard like it does the rest.

I have to agree that there is a long delay then it really should be.

By the time my client loaded the arena today the duel had begun and I was already weakened and clumsied, which does not seem condusive to the interests of a fair duel.

Clyde, don't be like that- it's not adjusting anything for playstyle, unless it is regular for someone's playstyle to include giving their opponents a head start.

1/2 right a longer delay would help a lot of people

i just suggested the command, so that if every1 was realy b4 timer it would start.

I'm a little confused as to how this is possible, there are so few items there now. But I will extend the time that the stone wall is up a little bit. Do you get that kind of delay when coming into the arena area therough the event gates?

This might be helped my doing a hard drive defrag.

basically my avatar appears then part of the room fills in.
same with the arena.

Are you guys running the same computer and internet connection that you used back on OSI in 1999? I commend you for trying to make the game "how it was back then" but jeez, upgrade that crap! ;p

But seriously, could this have something to do with client versions?

i find new arenas 10x faster

Dunno if it has just been the server the last few days or what, but i went to the 1vs1 yesterday and since whatever has been changed...I froze at the beginning of the fight and by the time i unfroze the fight already started. I just so happened to by fighting Chum and with no wrestling. Never had this problem with being lagged until the fight starts until now. This killed the fun of tourneys for me, hopefully they get fixed soon or i will just be rich from farming gold.
