UO Second Age

I log on and it takes me 30 minutes to find one person. I really don't want to quit cuz I've had a lot of fun here but I don't want to play one player uo. Sucks to see it go downhill so much, I really hope theres a sudden influx of players soon. :/

That seems weird. I've run into a TON of new players recently. Seems like every day there's a new face in IRC asking questions. What times/days are you playing? And what areas are you looking around in?

Brit still seems to be busy as ever....

There is no shard as well put together as UOSA, plus Derrick is like the grandmaster overlord of freeshards.

Don't forget this shard has been running for 3+ years.

Ups and Downs are to be expected, especially with new trends coming and going.

this shard went from around 750 unique ips to around 800 in the past few weeks. dont blame the shard that no one in ur timezone wants to play for european players its getting better and better here.

but the playerbase varys from day to day its a freeshard and not everyone playse every day. the most onlline i see always weekends

i assume you were tryin to pk... for 30 mins. alot of action has been going on secretly at these idocs. like today there was one takin feet off the streets of the dungeons, BGY etc.

just need to explore all options, the server has been very active.

i agree with this. they'll be back. i think the recent low trend is a direct result of minihealing consistently healing for so much dmg. the 7xgm noob or somewhat skilled player doesn't even have a chance to kill an elite player 1 V 1 due solely to this. the miniheal spam = less deaths = more boring = people not hooked looking elsewhere.

Agreed. Also our stay rate (at least 6 months) is higher than most other shards out there. Aside from that, noob or vet, activity is activity.

Are you red? That's probably why, I'd love to know the current ratio of active red(includes noto-pk's and guilds like KA)/blue characters, I'm guessing it's greater than 60/40
