Yeh Farming locations...I know about titan and ophids. Just trying to go to new places that I havnt tried. Im trying to find a place to go that really you can only go with a provo tamer but I dont know any beside those 2.

there are no places that get you gold where you wont get visited by pks.
on top of that there is no place that can only be done by a tamer, im doing lvl 5tmaps that spawn balrons and poison elemntals the strongest monsters ingame and im doing this with a bard/thunter...
Re: Provo Tamer
Ophidian's Lair and Terathan Keep are probably the best then. Provoke mobs on each other to prevent insane/constant poison on your pets.

Re: Provo Tamer
Ditch provocation - it becomes redundant when you have tamed dragons.
Re: Provo Tamer
I'd have to agree. My tamer started out as a provo tamer, but I found that my drags were killing stuff too fast to even utilize the provo anyway. I found that wrestle + resist is better for pk attack survivability anyway.Mens Rea wrote:Ditch provocation - it becomes redundant when you have tamed dragons.
However, I also don't farm at places where my drags are going to consistently get poisoned by high levels of poison, such as terathen keep/ophids; I could see a provo tamer being effective there possibly.

Re: Provo Tamer
Provocational-taming makes sense if we had pet follower limits.

Hi mikry252,
I know about titan but you have tried it already.
But Ditch provocation is also a wise recommendation. I will also advice Ditch provocation to you.

Re: Provo Tamer
I tend to agree, taming and provo on one temp is a bit of overkill. Either should be enough to kill any monster in the game with high enough magery.
You can park 5 drags at bloods, EG's or LL's and make phat loots, without the need to provo. Other places like Titans, Ophids and Thera keep, the pets will actually slow you down. You will be vsited by pk's for sure, regardless of the spawn you choose. I find that if you can park yourself unmolested for a lengthy period of time at any of the first three spawns listed is way more lucrative than simply provoing, but if you move around with a bard, you'll make a decent amount of money and reduce the risk of being PK'ed exponentially.
My recomendation is: use a tamer for some spawns, but use a bard for others. Having a combined char (ie: provo-tamer) is gimping the char. I'd much rather have 2 specialized chars instead or a multi-tasker. If you have a skilled up tamer already, drop provo, making a bard should be no problem moneywise.
