I'll just borrow the image SirEricKain used to sell his "secure" swamp castle. Wasn't worth deed + 1.5m, but that's UO I guess.

OK it wasn't worth the extra 1.5m I paid for it believing it was secure. Only to be slaughtered by TG less than 3 hours after the sale.

Did you gate in or out of your CY to a public place? Did you lock the outter and inner doors? It is extremely difficult to die in a castle, even if it is unsecure.

What's it insecure about? It's weight?

No, I didn't gate inside the castle to/from a public place. I'm selling this as an insecure castle because that's what it is and that's what it was when I bought it. I'm no longer questioning SirEricKain's integrity, as after many PMs with him regarding the issue, it's obvious he has none.

It's as difficult to die in an unsecure castle as it is to die in any other type of home.

If someone is training Resist by casting FS on himself... a perfectly timed EQ can kill them.

In a Keep or Castle, you are safe from this... except if someone has access to the CY!

I spent about 3 hours of writing to figure out how you slipped up and allowed TG who you claimed was stalking you even before our transaction took place, you admitted to leaving the CY back door unlocked to me and your friends, and also admitted to gating from your tower into the courtyard... Detecting hidden is all fine and good but a good stealther will expect it and lag his entering a home... You should invest in a GM tracker before investing in an attempt of abolishing someones good name.

I never used the front doors of my castle for anything but refreshing them. I always use a rune to the courtyard from my bank to recall and from one of my smalls to gate. Items can be gated outside and passed over tables to other characters.


Is there even a market for housing anymore?

You make up some fantasy story about detect hidden not working in a house. In over a year playing here I have never seen an exception to detect hidden working 100% of the time in a house (castles excluded). I even detected multiple times just to be sure.

You can not tell me how TG got in that courtyard, because it's not possible based on the actions that were performed. It took them 3 hours to get in there, I wouldn't even be surprised if you personally sold them a rune.

I'm not ruining your good name, you ruined it when you charged me 1.5m over deed price for an unsecure castle which took me 3 hours to find out it wasn't. Even Panthor says you have offered him shady deals in the past.

You quoted me well, now attempt to read it thoroughly a 2nd time around if you will. I stated that a seasoned stealther will anticipate a detect and do what needs to be done in a short amount of time. I see no fantasy story, also that was merely a possibility, had I known TG, or been of the shady sort I wouldn't have spoken to you or wasted any of our time trying to figure this thing out.

We did the trade with out forum pm to keep your identity secret, none of my closest in game friends even knew who I sold it to or even that I had sold it. You even handed me the Castle deed + silver first, and I had given you the castle right after.

I have never dealt with Panthor unless he went under a different name, bottom line is your story is incredibly shady, the odds of that happening with you practically begging for it with security mistakes are difficult to fathom.

I equally would be a fool for taking back a castle that I can no longer feel safe in or sell as secure.

Failing to hand over the castle would have resulted in a trade forum ban, which you knew very well. Doing a shady deal in which I can present no proof to you scamming me can only tarnish your reputation to those willing to believe it. I have never in my entire time on UOSA pulled a shady deal or a scam with anyone so noone can say I am not a "trusted trader".

I was a fool for trusting you and you have offered no type of compensation for selling me something that was not as advertised. That's the bottom line. You can keep trying to pin the security blames on me, but I have never said leaving the back interior door unlocked was any of your responsbility, so there's not even any point in you bringing that up. I'm just saying you sold me a terribly unsecure castle that was advertised as secure.

It's OK now because I've had reputable traders such as Telamon and Glenco offer me money back guarantees on secure housing. These are the kind of people one should be dealing with, and anyone would be a fool to trust SirEricKain with any type of unprovable claim from this point forward.
