Grandfathered Verification Services
Blackfoot says he's only brokering not verifying blessed items. I'm guessing because to much BS with stuff breaking. So as a possible solution I'd like to offer this. Any party must first contact me via forum PM. The seller and buyer agree upon whatever(i do not care to know). My charge is only 60k per hour up front. Both parties strip down to only one of two things. The idem in question and the house deeds to make a purchase. Barricade both parties inside my house snoop, kill, then snoop the seller once again to make sure he is only holding one idem and beat on him with my macer (using a NPC purchased war axe) for however long is agreed upon. I will supply my own weapons and bandages. The exchange must done within the confines of the building. If for whatever reason the seller is ejected from the house I can only offer the verification to continue or be redone at another time. I am not brokering the items simply verifying if they can be broken.
If anyone can find holes in this plan feel free to tell me.

Re: Grandfathered Verification Services
60k an hour up front is pretty ridiculous...
Re: Grandfathered Verification Services
anyone doing it cheaper ? i dont see it so hes making the price unless somone other wants in that market.
Re: Grandfathered Verification Services
This seems very reasonable for the service he's providing. He's providing the supplies and housing, tying up a character, and offering a reliable means of testing to avoid scams. This sounds like a great idea.Vilenarios wrote:60k an hour up front is pretty ridiculous...
The years passed, mankind became stupider at a frightening rate. Some had hoped that genetic engineering would correct this trend in evolution, but sadly the greatest minds and resources where focused on conquering hair loss and prolonging erections.
Re: Grandfathered Verification Services
Time is the resource you are paying for. I had 100k an hour there before I edited. As your attorney I'd advise you to make the seller pay for the verification or at least split the cost.
Re: Grandfathered Verification Services
I'm going to make a little waiting room for the buyers while I have my way with the seller. Hopeful someone out there will donate some reading material.

Re: Grandfathered Verification Services
How long does it take to test GF item .. I've heard people in irc talk about beating items for over 24stright hours .. If it takes that long then your price would be 1,440,000gold .. is that right??
Not hating think its a great idea .. but that seems high to me .. though I am poor compared to some that would be buying such items .

Interesting idea, however I can recall blackfoot telling me it takes 8 hours to take an item from full to 0 durability... so at your rate that is 480k to test the item... Grandfathered Blessed Blacks sell for just 500k.... HRM
Re: Grandfathered Verification Services
If its 480k though I'm sure others would do it cheaper .. for a trusted person I'd be ok with a set rate of half a mill to do this service .. And I'd re do the name or maybe thread itself with more info about what is required to be tested and vouched for ..
