Not being able to give commads on boat while dead.

I dont know if this was changed or a bug but I died on character to a sea serpent and wasnt able to give off commands to the tiller man.

Was there anyone living on the boat?

Ghosts can only command ghost ships; if there is a living character aboard they are helpless.

Is that even era accurate? I remember using ghosts to pilot other peoples boats all over the place.
