Penniless Rats

Tarry! An evil omen as this never such existed.

Rats no longer drop gold!

While greatly increasing the learning curve, as new players generally can only really kill things such as rats, it also removes a basic "Take-A-Penny, Leave-A-Penny" system that the rats, so numerous and bountiful, did fulfil.

Was this intentional? This makes me a sad panda.

I noticed this too recently, when doing the Blue Boar Rats quest.

Aye, this did change, not a bug. Rats and server rats should not have gold.
Hopefully the quest mentioned above should provide some offset to this.

Aye, I remember rats from back in the day. The brit sewers was my first stomping ground and they never dropped gold. I would kill them and then skin them. I would sell the meat for a few gp.... those times were tough.

So whats the deal with this quest? Are there other server quests?

What there are quests besides escort thingy!? Wow I thought since it was b4 quest system that there was none.

Now I have "MORE" of a reason to make a fisherman. If the loot/reward is poopy don't tell me. It will ruin my fun.
