UO Second Age

I just tried to log into the IRC chat room and it says I'm banned. I posted no spam and absolutely no out-of-line comments. I can only imagine this is a mistake. How does one submit a request to have the ban lifted?

Can you post the message it gives you relating to the ban?

Which channel are you trying to join? If it was one of the affiliated secondage channels there is usually a reason attached to why you've been banned.

sometimes if you disconnect and try to reconnect ( on mirc for me and i heard of flash irc client doing this) mondain the bot will ban you for revolving door attempt after trying to reconnect i have had it happen twice recently

The IRC bot Mondain will also sometimes ban an entire ISP. if it's detecting alot of join/parts or for other channel attack prevention.

If unable to join, and don't understand why, try PMing a staff member directly.

Someone in one of the other rooms may be able to help, or get us a message in the case that we have a nick different than listed above, for example I'm ofter "Derrick[afk]"

This shouldn't happen very often. When it does though we will fix it quick once notified.
