The brown part sticks out too much. If I was going to use anything besides cotton, I'd probably go for spider's silk....though that's a really hard one to stack well.

Sadly this style of decorating can be mimicked relatively easy, though I am certain a good amount of time has gone into this, thus justifying a hefty price tag.
