UO Second Age

I'd like to hold a spawn area this SAT night. The idea is to keep the murderers and thieves at bay so players can gain skill and gold with out getting steamrolled and dry looted. Though I can't do it alone =) Hoping to get a group together so we have a better chance of holding the area.

Would anyone else be available from about 10PM to 1AM CST this SAT? If more people are interested and will be on earlier you can get started with out me; that would be awesome. I just can't get on till wife and kids are in bed =P

Location will be disclosed in private at this point.
We won't be there for monster loot; our fortune and glory will be taken from murderers and thieves.
Stay together! Do NOT chase off 20 screens and find yourself alone... we all know what happens then.
Remember to work together; cross healing, synchronizing on a target, boxing in the target, staying together!
Anyone is welcome to help; bards, mages, warriors, tanks, dexxers... You don't have to be a 7x GM to help!

I'm usually not around on weekends but I think this is definently a great idea and wish you guys luck. If I happen to be around I will help out for sure.

You can count Norris in... Perfect timing as my wifey and kids should be in bed at that time as well.
And OP who is your DG Alt..?? I could prolly figure it out by reviewing old forum post as you are a regular here but I'm too lazy to do so.

So the agreement is no red on red or grey on red, but red and grey versus blue?
Ouch, that could hurt...are you ready for that?
Most thieves won't touch that unless they want to go red or Perma of course. One of the biggest threats to thieves who operate on the field is their targets dying...unless they aren't worried about pre-emptive thievery. Have to flag and hope someone smacks you if so.

There is no agreement; we will be trying to hold an area so ppl can farm. Yeah; it may be really hard if a big gank squad rolls in. Maybe only a few will show up at a time and it will be a fun field fight? Maybe at best we hold the PKs long enough for ppl to recall out. Really don't know at this point. We'll just have to find out how it goes!

I don't know where you're deriving "no red on red"... if two groups of reds show up and they hate each other then it may just be a big 3 way brawl... which would be pretty radical actually. The only agreement is that DG will work together and try to help people.
