Goodbye and Thank you

To all the friends I have made on this server I wish to thank you.

To fill you all in, all my houses recently dropped, I couldn't stop this because at the time of their falling I was in hospital after severely damaging my neck. Because of this injury I am unable to play anyway due to the damage done.

Some of those who hated me might laugh, but thats to be expected. I just hope this server continues to grow and remains for many years to come.

One thing I want to say is that I will miss UO, but it will be physically impossible for me to play. I hope to recover, but it doesn't look good.

Good Luck to everyone, and thank you for the memories.

I will come to check messages from friends here when I can. If I can ever get myself to a point I can play again I might be back.

I would hope that people understand enough that what goes on in the game should stay there. It's never good to hear of one of our own in bad shape.

Saying best of luck and hope you get better seem unspeakably lame when it comes to an injury that sounds so devastating. My only hope is that you can lead a life from this day forward that will leave you fulfilled and happy despite the atrocities you've suffered.

Good luck man. And stay positive! Working in health care I've seen people who they said would never walk again get up and walk out of the hospital a few months later. I truly believe that a significant part of the healing process is outlook and attitude.

Healthcare is also becoming more and more advanced every day. Just because they don't have a quick fix now, doesn't mean they won't in 5 years, or even a year. Another reason to stay positive.



I know me saying this might not help at all, because I've never been in your situation, and I understand that. But I do wish you a speedy recovery, minimal pain, and good things in the future. Hopefully one day you can come back to us, and become the ingame Tabius we know and love. Until then, try to come back to the forums/IRC and visit us every so often!
