Info on this mornings Patch -> Revert

Sorry about the trouble this morning. We patched up to RunUO 2.1 after a very delayed server restart, and found that items were decaying in houses about 30 mins after shard-up. We had to revert back to last save at 7am, losing about 40 minutes of game time.
The merge of Second Age with RunUO 2.1 has been very labor intensive, and we've been testing elements of this on test center and offline for a little over a week, but we missed this decay issue.
I'll be going over the changes again today, and we will try this again tomorrow morning hopefully.
This is an important and enormous patch internally, although it contains little if anything that will be noticeable on the game play side. Improvements include better network code, a new save strategy which may slightly improve save times, compatibility with the latest UO clients (Stygian Abyss and High Seas), and an upgrade to the .Net 4.0 framework which will result in better code going forward.
More comprehensive patch notes will be posted after we find success in actually patching.
