Spawn in New Windmere

WTF is up with the spawn in New Windmere? Logged in at the GH only to be ganked by a dozen red NPCs.
Yesterday I thought a gypsy camp had spawned nearby, but this is just insane!

Ya, I know what you mean!
Here's a couple of screen shots of me trying to have peaceful talks with them. I don't think they are here for conversation.
I wonder where they are coming from...

Man thats alotta red npcs... very odd.... I seen some dead ones near the GY too....

What a good way for newbies to discover C^V, I am seeing quite a few fighting these brigands when passing near the vendor and GH!

I find them to be a bit of a nuisance when trying to get to the guild house since I run from the Vesper bank!

I went to check out New Windmere after reading some here and those things are everywhere in the area! Once I get some skills under my belt I'll have to start showing them who's boss.
