I would like to know if it's possible to make weapons out of colored ore. If it is possible, then what advantages are their from making a weapon from colored ore?
I also would like to know at what skill level should i start making objects for skill gain out of colored ore?

Nope can't make colored weapons. Check the numerous blacksmithy links already here to find the stratics page that lists all the blacksmithy items and skill levels required.
