Correct, if these are not placed soon, you will not be able to place an xmas tree until december of 2011, even if you have a deed.

Currently these are able to be acquired by searching Britannia for reindeer and killing them, with the only loot being the deed. The reindeer look like a regular great harts but with one of santa's reindeers' name, but they are low spawning and spread out throughout all the land in sosaria
