Make Fishing Valuable!

Well so i spent almost a month trying to gm fishing and i go out and see only 1-3 lvl drop chests and SoS are hard to get most of the time, it would be good to see fishing drop 4-5 treasure chests...it makes it rather pointless to work that hard for nothing.

Funny there is nothing here saying that fishing is fine how it is or should be nerfed futher lol.

Note only that, but what I voted for was changed to "I don't fish." I do indeed fish and think the skill is fine the way it is.

fishing has always been a lvl 1-3 random chest. NEVER a lvl 4 or lvl 5.
its CRAZY wrong to give the fishers a chance to fish up lvl 4 or lvl 5 maps because fishing is way to easy to gm compared to cartography. NOTHING SHOULD BE DONE TO FISHING. u guys have almost no way of getting pked fishing for MIB's, and serpents are easy as cake to kill. if anything i think you guys have it wayyy to easy....

EDIT: and yes u need to add "fishing is fine the way it is" as a pole option. none of your options make any sense to me.

Fishing is great as far as risk vs reward goes.

I would just like it spiced up (Hint: fishing nets make great house decorations)

Dropping level 4 to 5 chests just seems too much for fishing. I'm assuming that's what you mean by 4 - 5 chests. Now if you mean drop 4 - 5 individual chests then I am not sure how unbalanced this may make the risk vs. reward effect. I haven't done SoS's on this shard yet. I will be soon enough though. I have just enough saved up for a vendor house right now. I'm a crafter at heart.

I am a fisher. Gains are quite slow but that is the only thing that sucks but I am not complaining because fishing is easy and requires Zero gold to GM. I am only at 96 but even being a fisher with magery (not GM magery) I can take the sea serps with very little risk. I don't even have max STR yet.

Would I like higher level chests? sure but if not its not a big deal.. as stated, risk vs reward is pretty balanced.

Nets would be awesome though but I don't think that came in T2A did it?

EDIT : "Make Fishing Easier To Gain In, Withought Changing SoS." doesn't make any sense, fishing is extremely easy, I assume you mean faster gain.

Ok, I must add a complaint here. I am at 99 fishing.. have killed around 15 sea serpents, all of which dropped a level 1 t-map. Not only are sea serpents rare but SoS's are eve more rare.

Might I suggest upping the chance of getting an SoS? I am almost positive that Serpents and SoS's were not this rare during this era on OSI.

You need GM fishing to pull MiB's. This is era accurate.
