Random Client Crashes
Random Client Crashes
I am using Vista which I can only assume is the reason but I am wondering if there is a work around?
EDIT: Yes I installed .NET 1.1
I edited the Title because it is not just Razor related.

Re: Cannot play Macro's (Razor)
Make sure you're running razor as administrator. Right click on the razor shortcut, click properties, compatability tab....Grubb wrote:I can record a new macro in Razor with no problems but when I play it, it stops responding and forces the client as well as razor to close.

Beyond that, I've no idea. I've never seen this happen.
Re: Cannot play Macro's (Razor)
Never mind. Its seems running Compatibility mode on Razor shortcut for windows XP SP2 fixes the problem.
EDIT!
Spoke to soon, stop responding while I was idle.. I guess Razor and macro's are not the culprit

Re: Cannot play Macro's (Razor)
Disabled UAC in MSCONFIG and it seems to be working correctly now.
Re: Cannot play Macro's (Razor)
Still not working. Client stops responding.. I let my Debugger run and gave me an error
"Unhandled exception at 0x77163387 in client.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation writing location 0x00000014."

Re: Random Client Crashes
May want to try reinstall
Oh, also, try turning off the music if it's beginning to seem like the problem isn't related directly to macro usage

Re: Random Client Crashes
I think I have narrowed it down to music. I noticed that in another thread. Its been running flawlessly for almost 2 hours now since I did that. Thank you for the the help.
Re: Random Client Crashes
My pleasure.
It seems common that there's always multiple problems with vista

Re: Random Client Crashes
Grubb please post the steps you took to fix your problem
i havn't been on in quite some time (~2months) because I am suffering from the random crash as well. I can get on for ~5 minutes before i crash and burn.
