I think I found a bug, I noticed that whenever I cast the lightning spell on another player or mobile the lightning graphic doesn't show up I can hear it.

Whenever I cast lightning on myself I can see the lightning graphic. Whenever another player casts lightning I can see it too.

But if I cast it on another player there is no graphic.

Surely this is a bug, anyone else have any input or experiences with this bug?

I know with lightning wands, I don't see it. I'm not sure if it's missing every time, but the majority of the time I notice it missing.

Lightning is only suppose to not show up after being casted back to back on a target.

The first one should show up and the second one shouldn't if casted again.

Yes, after Psilo discovered this, we did some testing of it last night, and all of us noticed this same pattern.

Yeah, I posted about this a while back but I never got any response other than a joke about Chumbucket.

Thanks for this report, i found the problem and am fixing. Sorry your initial report got overlooked as well Atraxi; I'd just assumed that it was indeed a local bard that was causing the trouble.

This was not fixed for Chain Lightning.
