glacial staves

Just came across this shard. Thinking of playing here. I read a thread that said glacial staves spawn here. I'm almost positive they were uor. If they do spawn, are they the ones you can one-shot 100 str players by throwing on a few cunning items?

Glacial staves were indeed a UOR addition. We will likey be removing them in the not to distant future.

Glacial staves do melt, so I see no reason to take them from people. Items like this, white hair, etc. is not in the spirit of OSI to delete, There were a lot of contraband items in era that were permitted to remain until EA started crcking down on things. Houses on tops of towers for example.
