Targetting lifebars

Post by son »

All too often if you try and heal someone in a 2v2 tourney it will say "target cannot be seen"

This happens quite often and it is a serious bummer, anyone else get this?

I know we could use smart last target or beneficiary target, but on the field its a serious bummer.

PS, using uosa recommended client. Its been happening to me for id say 6mo.

Yes it happens when I'm trying to target the health-bar of my dragon - even though I am standing right next to it - all the time.

Stop using the login client?
[14:17] <UOSAPlayer4056> cr3w guild is a joke. Ran by staff members, multi client pking, this shards a joke and a half.

The same thing happens to me when I'm doing pk runs. Sometimes my initial precast spell doesn't hit the target properly and I lose it.... Been happening for a long time.

yea been happening to me since i started here. its really annoying.

its worth mentioning that its not a case of having the spell targetter up for too long. i've been in 2v2s where i've literally cast heal 3 times in a row and clicked a health bar and it just repeatedly does nothing except drop the targetter (and maybe consume mana? not sure..)

This problem has existed since starting UOSA for me over two years ago and it doesn't only happen with the current client. Based on my experiences it happens during a very small window of time in between unequipping your weapon and it dropping in your pack when using Razor disarm hotkeys. There may be other situations that cause it but this is the most frequent one for me. Only physically targeting the bar creates the bug while last target/target self does not. Seems like a bug in the client since Razor can bypass it and send the packet automatically.

Faust I was more or less talking about running in with a precast eb (no equiping going on), drop spell with razor target keys (usually closest innocent), and have nothing happen but loss of target (no mana consumed).

It could be a de-sync thing... *shrugs*

I was talking about the 'target cannot be seen' bug that felix made this thread about.

Do you have your spell range set to 10 in Razor Rose?

When the spell is timed out, I don't think it's supposed to say anything.
