Hi,
Played UO on Origin for years (Siege) and finally could not take the changes anymore. I vaguely remember a time when there were vanq weapons and recall. So here I am after like 15 years trying to remember how to get started from nothing. I'd forgotten how expensive it is to level a mage when you have no gold!
First, can anyone recommend an efficient way to build gold up on Second Age? I've had GM miners, GM smiths, fletchers, and have sold more bolts of cloth than I can number. What sells good here?
Is it critical to max resists on armor (or even possible to do that with meddable armor) on here? Does armor here have special stats like it does in the Origin current releases?
I never did bother with the Chaos/Order system back when it was used in Origin. Is it as bad here with overpowered armor as it is with factions on Origin?
I finally got sick of getting stomped by 13 year old kids running faction arties and cheats. I'm hoping there's none (or not much) of that here?
Anyone bored to tears lately and feel like mentoring a newb to get a foothold? I hate playing solo and would like to learn the ropes on the shard and getting a mage up to GM.
any particular guilds I should watch out for, who will kill me on sight?
