Okay I found this web link from the archive.com way back machine for uo.stratics.com...

Pay close attention to the bottom part Enchantment to Spell Conversions, it lists Dragon's Breath as one of the suffix's.
Different damage I wonder?

Also at the very very bottom in small red it reads...

Some equipable magical items that seem to be enchanted with a spell that would normally increase your own stats or decrease an opponents' will confer a negative effect upon its wearer. For example, a weapon of Feeblemindedness may cause the effects of the Feeblemind spell to take place upon its owner while worn, instead of casting the spell at a targeted enemy. Another example would be a gorget of Strength that would, instead of raising its wearer's strength, lower their dexterity.
Whats with this... was there a Cursed prefix/suffix that did opposite effect's to the wearers?
Also it suggests magic armour that had + stat attributes.

Yeah there's another thread where magically enchanted armor was giving stat bonuses. We currently do have ghouls touch/mages bane clothing, that will paralyze/mana drain you.. no armor though

and no, there wasn't a cursed label, some would confer benefit, others would take away.
