I distinctly remember that when you successfully started a fight using the provocation skill it played the beginning of Down with the Sickness by disturbed and not that gay lute music. EW AH AH AH AH!

Sadly this original alpha music was patched out in early 1999 (used both for the lute and drums wasn't it?). Thanks much for linking this classic UO video, hearing that music again brings me back to what it was like to be a struggling bard in 1998.
We're currently trying to get some of the accurate town music fixed too. My favorite of course was "Touch Of Grey" by The Grateful Dead in the City of Wind.
