Voting Suggestion. Best one yet. *poll*

Since no one wants a gump placed in game and events have been cut down quite a bit...How about for a certain amount of votes per week we could have derrick add events to the weekly schedule. The extra events would be placed every other week based on the last weeks voting #.

This would basically use our current system as a reward for keeping our shard going.


*edit* The sad truth is , i'm having to mass spam people in their PMs in irc to get them to vote. Otherwise we would still be #26 on the 200 list. I am pretty sure this can't be kept up forever at this rate. We are nearly #10 again.

Edit #2* It could have a cap on how many per week so as to not overdo it.

Please no Random useless voting reward clutter. This shard has a feeling of purity you cant get elsewhere. The Hued masks already tarnish the T2A aesthetic. Automated events are not era. I don't care if anyone thinks it is good for the population. Even if you could prove to me that they were I still wouldn't want them. Before you know it we are going to have vote stones... This shard will grow and grow without events and goodies because it is by far the best shard ever created for many reasons, mainly the quality of the admin which stands out in class, dignity, and most importantly humbleness. For me "who's shard" I'm playing on is more important than "which shard". I shall now go and vote for our UOSA.

I voted no. I might be more for it if we had more events geared towards rp and not mostly pvp. However, the reduction in auto-events makes room for more player run events and pvm/rp stuff which adds more variety and I think has more potential for attracting new members when we do put in the effort to vote.

Derrick has told me that he has no way of tracking the voting people do and no way to implement such a thing. I guess we need a better idea.

Though people really are limiting what would could do. I don't see why everything is a "no " when it's so hard to get people to vote.

Just add a vote message (Vote for secondage blah blah) on world save/log in with a [vote command to bring up the pages.
