Healing Difficulty Based?

Does anyone know if healing gains from curing poison are difficulty based or not?

It seems that snake poison does not offer as many gains, if any at all, compared to casting poison on myself.
Also, I asked around in irc, and one person mentioned that the type of poison did not matter for gains, but I have a sneaking suspicion that that is not the case. Any ideas?

PS. My healing is is crawling at 73.0/68.7

Yes healing goes faster once you start curing.
Once you hit 80 start ressing ghosts. The best way is have a dead toon just get healed the healing toon can keep going even after he succeeds.

I believe he's asking if the type of poison used effects gain, not if curing yields gain in general. I'm curious to know as well.

Eventhough I did not test it properly, I must say I gained just fine curing snake poison.

Well I misread that horrible. I just cast poison on myself for this.

I did 50-79ish healing fighters, then healed a char who poisoned himself till 90, then 90-GM rezzing a ghost.

80-90 by curing only costed about 700 nightshade and 1-2k bandages, probably the fastest way to burn through healing at this level.

I ended up using a snake to 80.1. It really wasn't that slow at all. I've been rezzing a ghost since then, and now I am at 90 something. Not too bad at all. =)
