Are pets that are released/retamed still taking stat loss?

For ideas on how to make Second Age a better shard. Can it get any better? Maybe.

I remember talk about this, no idea if it was disabled, as I read it was not era accurate.

There is no stat/skill loss when pets are tamed or released, for sure at this point.
