Resurrect in houses or on ships will only work if both people involved are in the house or on the ship.

o Corpses from all murderers will be red.
o Casting gate on an unmarked recall rune will no longer raise magery.Energy vortexes and blade spirits will function a lot like the field spells with regards to the reputation consequences. They still attack victims normally, and the caster is completly responsible for their actions. This includes being cast as a murderer should the blade spirit/ vortex attack and contribute to the death of the victim. However, merely running into a blade spirit or energy vortex will no longer be grounds for reporting the caster for murder. The caster will become criminal should someone take indirect damage from such a spell, but much like fire field, they will not be reportable for murder.
This last one here about blade spirits, I am having a difficult time trying to understand. I seem to remember you being damaged by simply walking near a blade spirit even if it was attacking something else. Here these two summons work exactly like every other mobile, I believe they might actually be more like a mobile-field spell. Though I cant be sure.

A few notes about that information.
  • The inscribe skill should be working properly (I don't know for sure that it is).
  • The spawn changes to Despise were done before dungeons received a theme in early 98.
  • Both energy vortexes and blade spirits have a passive effect when you physically stand on the same tile as them. Energy vortexes will automatically curse while blade spirits will automatically poison their victims (this is confirmed in the demo).

I think reading the BS/EV thing is that they will attack you the caster will go grey but they aren't reportable for a murder.

What about EVs opening locked doors from the inside, is there evidence for this?

The reputation consequences (i.e., lack thereof in certain situations) for EV's and blade spirits were implemented in a recent patch along with the similar field spell changes.

Regarding ressurrection there is another inaccuracy here: you shouldn't be able to res on a tile where a mobile is standing. You should get a message "you cannot ressurrect here!" or something.

This was annoying as hell in the NPC healer or if someone just wanted to grief you by standing on your tile to disallow res.

That is absoolutely correct. Any player/npc/non-walkable-item should block a ghost from ressing.

This was true at some point. It was fun standing on people to stop them from ressing ^_^
