Melee/Archer template?

Hey all,
Im thinking of making a melee/archer focused char. Is this a good combo? If so what do you think would be an ideal template?

Cool thanks man...I'm currently using swordsmanship, is there a definite strongest choice between the melee options?

not really its more personal preference. I'm partial to maces myself because they destroy your opponents armor faster. I would go swords for pvm and maces or fencing for pvp.
