My oldest account turns 730 days old Thursday. So in celebration of two full years of my hobby of ruining Derrick's hobby through my annoying the hell out of everyone on this shard with constant theft, scams, archerbots, houselooting, ALL CAPS, and generally being a nuisance, and also due to the unfortunate fact that I need to go on hiatus for some unknown length of time, I am holding an event in which I will give away one million gold to one lucky player.

That's right: One million gold to one person. There will be no second place. There will be no consolation prizes. Someone will win one million gold made off the backs of the players of UOSA, and everyone else will walk home empty handed.

When: Friday, May 28th at 10 PM EST. (Somewhat tentative in both day and time...)

What: I will disclose no details of the event until a very short time before it begins.

Some initial details:

1. You will have to make and use a new character. I will announce shortly before the event what name you must use (to ensure the character is new) and where to make it.

2. We will start at exactly 10 PM EST. There will be no waiting around for those who aren't ready.

3. You are to completely empty your backpack immediately. Anyone found to have brought ANYTHING with them other than clothes (armor is not clothing!) will be removed from the event.

4. From our initial starting point, I will take you to a secret and secure location.

5. At this location, we will have a series of mini-events that together will compose something like a Simon Says game. Each mini-event will eliminate substantial numbers of players.

6. The Rule of Silence: Once the events have begun, no talking will be allowed AT ALL. If you say even one small thing, you are automatically eliminated from the event. There will be no mercy. (This does not include Spell Words uttered as a part of casting spells.)

7. At the end of it all will be one last player who will take home One Million Gold.

Q: Where should we start our characters?
A: That's a secret that will be announced shortly before the event begins.

Q: What skills and stats should we start with?
A: That is entirely up to you. A mixture of skills may prove useful, but do note that there will be combat of various sorts.

Q: WIL THER BE LEET PVP 1v1?
A: No, but we will allow even mouthbreathing mYm-types to participate (provided they haven't recently quit due to Matron stealing their keep).

Q: Why are you quitting?
A: I have to go away for a while to do volunteer work at an orphanage in a third world country while also conducting research that may ultimately lead to a cure for cancer.
