Hello

I read some stuff about poisoning before, but not sure if it was applicable to UO during or after the Second Age

Does the poisoning skill increase the damage done by a poison spell? I read that in can increase the level of poison applied to the target

nope.
just gives ability to apply greater strength poison

actually the poison skill grants no benefits at all to the magery spell or to weapons. It was a pure crafter skill in this era. Well, you could reapply in the middle of battle if that is your sort of thing.

The only way to increase the potency of the magery spell 'In Nox' is to get higher magery. The most recent patch changed this.
