UO Second Age

Ive been working a new char and Im still undecided on which wep skill to go with....I was leaning towards maces as I always thought maces did greater stam dmg than others, but when I was looking over the damage tables I noticed it had the actual maces (mace and war mace) listed as having higher stam dmg than other weps.

Anywho, can anyone confirm this? Do all weps using the macing skill do greater stam dmg or only those 2 weps, or do they all do higher stam dmg but those 2 do the best? Also, anyone have any idea how stam dmg is calculated, that is, how much stam is lost per hit?

i tested this a while back cause i noticed the same thing.
but im pretty sure all mace weps do same stam damage.

and in tiny writing at the bottom of the page it says:


* Maces do an extra damage of 3 to 5 points to the victims stamina if a hit is made. Maces also do damage to armor everytime the armor absorbs damage. The amount of damage done to armor is half that of the damage points absorbed by the armor and typically lies in the 1 - 7 points range.
