Warning to players Matron real estate scams

Basically the deal was 2 5 pt trophies and a vanq long spear for a placed large brick. I will now post the IRC logs from both Matron and Tabius.

Here is a summary of what transpired. I went into IRC and posted that I was selling/trading my trophies for a large brick deed or placed brick. Matron responded, we agreed to terms. I met him at Skara bank he took me to the house, was a nice location just what I wanted. We agreed I gathered the trophies and the vanq long spear and he recommended using brother tabius as a broker. I agreed and sure enough a character appeared that looked very much like Tabius. We went and Items went in a screen house was suppose to be transferred which it obvious was not items were taken by the Tabius char and given to Matron, house wasn't transferred, They recalled, I saw the character that looks like Tabius at Skara asked him to re-transfer and then he responded "KA ALWAYS WINS" with some other trash talk to I suppose reflect how happy they were that I was scammed. Thats it in a nutshell.

Here's the tl;dr: Matron tried to buy a house, Raiko suggested using Tabius as a broker, a fake Tabius showed up that Raiko vouched for, Matron lost a keep deed.

Lesson to be learned: be careful who you're dealing with.

There are currently 2 fake Brother Tabius's on the server. Be wary and always talk to me in irc prior to any trades taking place. And on a final note, Brother Tabius the character doesnt take ownership of a house, he owns the rune tower on moonglow, and i wouldnt wipe the friends list to make a trade with him. So any direct trades to Brother Tabius of housing is always a scam waiting to happen.

Listen, I am not here trying to pin anything on anyone, read the logs believe them or don't. I have no reason to lie, furthermore I openly admit I got scammed. I am not here flaming anyone, rather passing on exactly what happened so other players can learn from my experience.

I can't say I can prove what happened or not, but I will note three things:

1. We normally take credit for our capers.

2. Matron, in #cA IRC room, is sticking to her story. I don't see why she would do this there even if she would in public.

3. Tabius used to be a member of cA until I kicked him out. It wasn't anything personal, but he did take it quite poorly. My guess is that this is his revenge, but I can only say that is a guess.

Well then how about this, if Matron is not guilty and this is all Tabius as you say then since you guys still have your house which is somewhat warn which means a owner never opened the door and it was never transferred how about you kindly ask your guild member to return my items since of course the intent was a legit transaction and the house never changed anyone's hands at all. I am sure you could kindly gather my items and meet me at the bank and return them since you and your guild members in no way tried to scam me.
