For Sale: Mining House Near Wind

Post by riant »

I'm willing to entertain buyout offers over 60K. For any offers under 60K, please bid. I'm sorry that I can't provide a specific buyout number, but I'm just not sure about the actual worth of a mining house, or if it is even worth that much more than deed price.

Starting Bid: Small Deed
Increments: 2K
Ends: Sunday 9PM EST

I will use a broker if necessary (buyer pays). Keep in mind that I don't go online that much and it will be very difficult to coordinate it. I've bought and sold many houses without a hitch in the past (check my posting history) and I certainly won't get my account banned over a small house.

Is that a grandfathered thing? I mean is it not possible to put a forge on the steps now?

Supposed to be no longer possible, but I've seen some weird things lately....

Yes this was done before the changes came into effect.

Received a couple of PM's with low buyouts but want to see if I can do better. I can say firmly now that I will take a 100K buyout.

My thought is if you can't put forges on porches through some recent exploit, and it is truly no longer possible, a grandfathered house with a forge on the porch in that spot is worth 100k....just my unwelcome opinion.

I'll go ahead and rescind my offer, I do not enjoy making offers and hearing nothing back upon them while you raise your buy outs and just make bump threads. My offer was more then generous.

Np with rescinding your offer. But in my defense, I said pretty clearly that I wasn't sure what it was worth. I said the auction goes to Sunday, and I said I would "entertain" buyout offers above 60K (figuring I didn't want to shutout anyone who wanted to auction bid deed+2K if it turned out it wasn't worth much). My response to the 60K and 65K PMs was made in the thread when I said I got low buyout offers and at that point, I did the courtesy of firming up the buyout at 100K, which no one has offered. At that point mr mahony's 80K bid was logically just a bid.

Are you guys just whining or do you seriously think you have a logical complaint.

And since we are passing judgement: Oswald, you are banned from bidding for being a whiny post hijacker. Your comment about nearby houses being just as good was clearly intended to lower the items value.

<continues reading responses>...and yeah, you're out to mr. mohany. Giving me crap for bumping posts? Are you guys serious?

This thread is more trouble than its worth. First person that hits this thread with 50K offer gets it, minus the two posters I banned from bidding.

Thanks for your interest.

You started off claiming you were taking bids for under 60k, and entertaining buyouts for over 60k.

Then when you only got buyout offers for 60-65k (maybe 70?) you came back and said "oh well this was too low, sorry, but I'll sell it for 100k!".

So then you got a generous offer for 80k and ignored it while bumping up your post trying to milk it for even more.

So yeah people are going to be irritated with your poor conduct.

Also a head's up to anyone thinking about purchasing the house, I'm buying the house next door and will be PK'ing anyone in this house or using this house and will check the location fairly often.

I made two different offers upon which I received 0 responses from you about them ( even a you were outbid response). Clearly you have no idea on how to construct or complete deals with the attitude you have been showing. You take the time to bump your posts, but yet don't take the time to respond to the people that actually show an interest in what you are selling. And, now I am BANNED from buying an item I no longer have any interest in, well you have clearly shown me. Good luck on selling your house for now less then what you were initially asking because the only two people who showed interest in it no longer want it.

I think you were high bidder with 80K. Generally I will eventually edit the original post with current high bid, but of course i would always honor a high bid. Auction didn't end until Sunday so I'm not sure why you were expecting composed replies on Thursday. Bump is just something I do very quickly before I go to work.

That's pretty clever. Just curious...what's your PK name? I want to make sure to avoid him because I'm guessing he's pretty good.
