Totally a n00b question, but seeing as how I haven't played in 9 years, I don't care: When you reach skill cap and lock, does decay conversion go faster when the decaying skill is high (80+) and the converted skill low (-40)? And vice versa?
Ex:
Spir. Spk. 91 (-) --> animal lore 1 (+) = fast
Item id 12 (-) --> Eval. Int. 95 (+) = slow
Lumb. 40 (-) --> Tink. 25 (+) = average
See-saw/skill conversion help
Re: See-saw/skill conversion help
Not really sure what you're inquiring about but once you hit skillcap, you can lock all skills except the one you're using to gain a certain stat (leave that pointing up). It won't gain points but you'll still gain stats and since it stays at 0.0, the stat gain will be quicker.

Re: See-saw/skill conversion help
When you reach skill cap, you point unneeded skills "down", (or lock if they're at 0) and point skills you want to raise "up," and as the "down" skills decay, the points move into any skills that are "up" (decay conversion). My question is if, as with normal gains (before skill cap) decay conversion is slower/faster at higher/lower levels.
