There appears to be a change in archery (a good one!).

The swing timers of bows/xbows now behave like melee weapons. Before, every re-equip of a box/xbow meant waiting for the swing time before firing, regardless of whether you struck an opponent beforehand or not. I was testing it out on test center with a tank mage with archery instead of swords, and it works! Can do combos just like a hally, but with range! Another good thing is that with archery the swing timer keeps going while you move. Nice!

There's been no intentional change to archery yet, although one is slated that should improve it some, relating to how long you have to wait to fire after you stop moving which is presently longer than it should be, and also not currently based on your stamina as it should be.

I noticed that after I cast I can equip and the bow will fire immediately. Thats sweet.

Definitely not intentional and I am sure it will be fixed unless the original swing timer gets thrown in before hand.

Yeah it is! It's like a ranged tank mage.

Wish they would leave it like that. Archery already has no place in pvp, atleast with the timer working like a melee weapon it would give archery half a chance. Although I understand having to load a bolt or ready an arrow.

crossbows killed many knights last night

chum, when I first saw that pick I wondering how/why you were using heavies in pvp but then I realized it was a couple of you guys so yea if everyone focused on one person they would drop in no time. I still think that in 1on1 archery isnt good enough to hang.

There's actually no one playing in that picture. Anytime you see cA archers, its really matron afk killing people with 6 accounts on her iPhone.

There's no way cA has over 6 members.
