I have some random questions that I probably used to know back in the day:

For provoking, is there some skill level where provoking two chickens to fight each other will stop giving gains? I seems like my gains have stopped at 50.2...but it could just be a slow spot.

Does walking through fire fields give you resist spells gains?

Can monsters open doors?

What is the skill/stat cap on this server?

You should beable to keep gaining, no matter what you're provoking as long as you keep repeating it.

Personally, I haven't tried fire fields here but I don't imagine you could get more than 50 resist with it. Currently, theres no spell damage in town to yourself so lightning-energy bolt-flamestrikes work well.

Yeah, it seems most all monsters open doors - the intelligent ones at least.

Skill cap of 700, stat cap of 225

You can no longer instigate a 'cock fight' to gain skill in provocation because it is immoral and illegal. The same goes for provoking two dogs (see Michael Vick).

No seriously, provocation was not skill-based during T2A nor is it on this shard. Its pretty slow though I noticed, just keep going with it.

Good info. I don't think I can afford the same lawyers as those football players, so I had better watch out for the dogs.


I had hit the skill cap and didn't realize it. (I feel like such a noob again) I just didn't expect to hit the skill cap in three days. Anyway...I set some skills to down and got instant gains.
