hey, i just bought a 6k "FULL SPELLBOOK" at the Bank N Buy after reading this, and it had not a single spell in it. What gives?

I dont know if this is the same vendor, the one I went to was right at the NE corner of the Yew bank, large house with the patio, but anyways I brought a full spellbook from there and it was indeed full.

the Bank B Buy is the small house directly west of that large patio... I've been looking for some full spellbooks for new characters for about 2 weeks now, already was scammed with the blank spellbook once before by some vendor south of the yew moongate, so I was waiting for the daily planet to restock theirs, since the one full spellbook I've bought before was from them, and it was good. But then I saw this post that Wise would be stocking scribing supplies, and I believe he is a trusted member of the community, and they were not cheap at 6k, so I bought, and AGAIN... blank spellbook.

I am hoping that this was just some kind of mistake and I can get an actual full spellbook or my money returned. If not, I am making a damn scribe.

Sorry to hear that Aule. Maybe you can get some resolution via this thread. I am working on a scribe, why I needed the full spellbook. Seems like I should get him up and running fast since it seems to be a market for a trustworthy scribe.

Btw, there was a noob scamming blank books at the Moonglow bank last week.

Well of course if you bought a full spellbook from Wise's vendor and it was blank, it would have to be a mistake....I'm sure he will make good on it if there was a problem, Wise is indeed one of the most trusted people on the shard

Give him a call on IRC or message him on the forum, I'm certain he willl take care of you....you will have a full spellbook in the end sir, and sorry for the inconvenience!

Just a fyi. Be sure to item ID spellbooks, they will tell you how many spells they contain when you click on them. 64 is full.

Aule, my greatest appologies, this is a new vendor I just set up, unfortunately it looks like I stocked my spell books from the wrong bag (a first time mistake I assure you) the rest of the books have been taken down and will be replaced with guaranteed full spell books, this is my promise to all UOSA players Aule Please get in contact with me here on in IRC I will refund your 6k and provide you with a full spell book free of cost

EDIT: I only ended up selling 1 of the botched book stockings, again greatest apologies to all my customers $$$ Aims to sell the highest quality goods, but some times mistakes to happen & we will always make good on them!

Update: Wise pm'ed me very quickly, replied to me in IRC as soon as I got his message to contact him, met me in game immediately, gave me the full spellbook, AND insisted on returning the 6k that I paid for it.

That was very cool.

Needless to say, I am very happy with the transaction and definitely plan on doing much more business with Wise and his vendors in the future. Thank you, Wise!
