But wait, isn't swamp land notoriously unstable to build on? I would get a structural engineer to examine it first, Matron. That way you won't have to worry about making costly foundation repairs, or WORSE, the house just collapsing a year from now. In fact, you should put a clause in the paperwork that says the seller is responsible for the inspection fees, and that final sale is contingent upon a favorable verdict from the engineer.

haha I figured since you bumped twice since Matron posted, and from asking Matron personally that it was still up for grabs. Just got a tower in a better place thanks for your constructive attitude!
