I dont understand. You aren't stealing that stuff are you? Isn't it all locked down?

But arent the chest locked down? Meaning you can't move them or the items unless the home owner said "I wish to release this."?? Or was that after this era?

From the looks of the screenshot, they were just stacked in a room and weren't locked down. Even if they were locked down, he still could've cleaned out all of the items and left the empty chests.

Thats wierd. I haven't had a house since 05 but I remember not being able to pick up items once the container was locked down.

That changed with Phase II of housing I believe; they increased the number of lockdowns, and anything placed inside a container became locked down as well.

On UOSA, only items in secure chests are safe from thieves unless the thief is friended to the house. Anything else they a thief can get access to is fair game. Hence the use of locked interior doors, detect hidden and table barriers for item security.
