Re: Contest discussion for "Solve the puzzle!"
I tried using Dragon and llama to decode...I tried adding up the numbers to get words numerically and alphabetically then using these two beasts names like d= 1, next r=1, then a=1 etc .to get the answer. I thought each number/or sum of the group meant a letter. I am stumped.

Re: Contest discussion for "Solve the puzzle!"
First clue is most-likely llama;
found this link: http://www.mikeypan.idv.tw/uo/uodata/bo ... oks-16.htm
"Llamas are curious beasts, shaggy and sought after for their wool, yet of a curiously arrogant disposition reflected in their eyes. They live in mountainous areas, though who may have first tamed them is lost in the mists of history.
'Tis a well-known fact that llamas can indeed be tamed, and used as grazing animals, for their meat, and of course for their wool. Yet 'tis lesser known that their ornery disposition and tendency to spit at those they dislike makes them appealing guard creatures as well, though they have little sound with which to sound an alarum."

Anyone else having problems figuring out the second half of #2? I got the first part (unless its a huge coincidence) but the second part is all messed up.

Did everyone give up already? I suggest you all share your findings or no one will be able to claim the prize. Understanding one clue doesn't mean you'll be guaranteed to understand the next one, so help each other out! ;)

We took a vote, and we decided you were wrong and that the correct answer is indeed, ant lion.Safir wrote:Did everyone give up already? GOOD LUCK![/quote]
I suck at stuff like this, It makes me feel like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H24V-u7fNJM but I like the fact that people care enough to put together these contests/puzzles/events. I am officially disqualified, but would like to see some of the preliminary results people who understand number puzzles came up with. I have no clue what any of those numbers represents...enlighten me.
