Tamer event

We need a PvM event that isn't just for bards. I tried taming a dragon in survival and it's just not something that is feasible.
Give us a Tamer event where Tamers go to do their thing. YOu can even let bards play too , just so long as a tamer has a fighting chance. I don't feel that survival was intentionally meant for 1 type of class to win every game but that is the case.
Limiting everyone but bards in Survival feels just wrong.

Id start with shit like lava lizards and shit but u gota kill spawn which is quite rapid just like survival.
So really its a survival with tameable spawn (hell hounds etc would be quite good).
The problem with trying to tame a dragon, it can take like 20m for just 1. Most survival dont last 20m.

So then let us take our pets in, it would be a seperate event from survival.

That's clever... keep trying to tame the dragon. I don't think you use a tamer-bard, but if you do, I think it would be quite possible. I want to say you tame a dragon at 100 Taming something like 1 out of 7 attempts.

Sucks that sometimes even at gm it takes over 12 times.
Maybe a tamer event could be a free for all maze where each contestant (3 at a time) go to each corner of a map like a race and tame a dragon. You step on a tile to get out of the dragon taming room and it spawns stuff in your way through the maze to slow you down getting to the end and the first person to get to the end with their dragon wins.
Maybe we could get rid of trophies for this one event and let people keep a slightly upgraded stat/magery dragon. This would be a good way to implement the era accurate dragons everyone is takling about but instead of having to go out and tame them, we have to do the gauntlet.

Are you serious? It has 800 HPs, an unblockable 40-point attack on top of it's normal 25-30 HP claw attack, and it casts magic. Maybe we should just have an NPC vendor that sells them for 700 gp like horses.

Well considering the ones that take 12 times to tame are always a problem and barely listen....yep it still sucks. Risk and reward don't seem to play a factor in taming a dragon. The harder it is to get, the crappier dragon you got.
100% false
All of them are exactly equally hard to control.

Yes... dragons are "tougher to tame" than lava lizards, and are therefore more "stubborn".
Dragons are all the same.
If you don't agree, put your money where your mouth is. Trade me 2 of your "stubborn" dragons, and I will give you 1 of my "non-stubborn" dragons. I have over 20, so if you're dissatisfied with the first non-stubborn dragon I give you, I'll swap whichever one I gave you for another, until you're happy.

Actually if you release your pet right after you tame it and retame it again for some reason they arent as stubborn.
Try it.
