[Zsv]Sponsored New Player Housing.
Posted: Fri Dec 11, 2009 4:27 pm
Temporarily Unavailable: Having building work done, sporadic internet access for 1-2 months.
With Safir going MiA and the first Humble Village of Awesomeness [HVoA] decaying, and Dark Radiance apparently also not very active at the moment with he's [HVoAII] we have decided to open up this 4 house compound for new players. Safir did a great job and is missed and I have every confidence Dark Radiance would have upheld that tradition but with both currently absent we felt someone should pick up the slack and continue the tradition of new player housing on UOSA.
I would advise all new players read Safirs original [HVoA] thread as it contains a great deal of relevant, useful information.
It is NOT a pre-requisite to join [Zsv] prior, during or after making use of your temporary new home, new players are free to do as they please while using our facility to get started and established here on UOSA.
4 Small houses available for indefinite use[within reason] by new players. Located in a quiet area bordering the northern side of the hedge maze, within running distance of Britain and Skara Brae.
Each house of the 4 houses contain the following.

1 Armoire.
1 New Player Mini Guide. Covers basic housing, gameplay & runebook info.
1 Loom.
1 Spinning Wheel.
Table wall and basic deco.
Current Occupancy Status:
House 1 - Occupied
House 2 - Occupied
House 3 - Occupied
House 4 - Occupied
Contact Caswallon either by PM here on forums or in mIRC http://www.uosecondage.com/chat.aspx as Cas for more information.
We will be turning the L shape house in the centre of the compound into a secure training and macro centre in the future, once we establish exactly what new players would find useful and vendors will be added in the future. We also have a small boat placed on a lake in the centre of the compound, for any aspiring fishermen you can reach 94 fishing from this vessel.
Note: For the established players here who may wish to help out, we would gladly accept donations of reagents, bandies, iron ingots or GM weapons/armour or gold towards the starter kits. We could also really use someone who has a GM bowyer and/or carpenter for arrows, bows and qstaffs.
If any of the richer among you wishes to sponsor one of the training houses, and have it named after you, you can donate a small house deed. All contributions will be recorded in a book in the Lodge.
