UO Second Age

Hi guys,
I just joined this shard yesterday. Came from another one that i've played on for 2 years.
I'm training swords on a hired paladin, but I cannot get him to go blue.
I have him attack me, then all stop him. He stops attacking while I attack.
He remains grey the entire time while I remain blue.
When I attack him and he is blue, I turn grey and remain until I stop.

However, I noticed someone in town fighting a hired paladin and they are both blue.
How is this possible? Id like to macro him in town but don't want anyone to kill him when hes grey.

even when you tell him to "all stay" as long as the attacking persists he shall remain grey but only to you. Everyone else percieves him as blue.

You may have actually seen me. I used to do it in my house, but after I saw others doing it in town, I figured I would go that route (since I don't have the magery on the character to get the hireling to the house).


And for some reason, after trying it in that spot for a few minutes the hireling walked away, so I changed all stop to all follow me after I initially stopped the hireling's attacking.
