UO Second Age

Long story short, I was able to acquire the means and finances to finally attend a full fledged helicopter flight school and fulfill my dreams of becoming a commercial pilot. Due to the cost of training I won't be investing any time towards PC gaming in general, much less spending anymore time in this wonderful shard Derrick has put together.

So first, let me say thanks to everyone who has made my time here a very enjoyable one. From the asshats to the gentlemen (and women), as a whole you all have created a wonderful community that I have come to enjoy.

So to the point: I own the tower just southeast of the Trinsic moongate, loaded with everything a new player (or a few) would need to quickly develop some characters here on UOSA. I had started to decor it, but was cut short very early on by work.

My initial thought was to create a post here and have people message me about their new up and coming guilds, amount of members, yada yada and I'd pick one to donate the tower and all of its belongings to. However, mentioning this on IRC quickly gave way to several comments along the lines of "YOU SHOULD DO AN EVENT!"

So, I ask you here: what do you think I should do with the tower and its belongings? If you have an event or idea in mind, leave your comments here and we'll see what comes over the next few days. Bear in mind if its an event, I will probably need your assistance in running and/or hosting as my time is limited atm.

Tower info: first floor has tmap rune libary and quick stock secure chests, second floor has full alchy lab in chests plus 8-10k of each reg, several k in ingots as i had started a miner, third floor is armory, most of the chests are full of power/vanq items i haven't had time to sell, roof has two fountains with 5pt trophies each.

Either you do a bitching bigass event that everyone can enjoy. Something like Tower of Death. Or you give the shit to me so I and my guildmates who should be starting to play here soon can start pvping as soon as possible.

Take books on the ground that players leave for other players, and write homophobic & infantile things in them. Whoever does this the best would be considered most hiicha-like, and would thus win the tower.

Congrats on flight school, I am currently working on my Certified Flight Instructor and Instrument Instructor ratings. It's a long road but it's totally worth it. Well if it's worth it if you like flying, not money.

Race around Britannia on foot with check points along the way, starting at your tower and ending at your tower. Hopefully some GMs could help to discourage cheating, but basically just a race!

Gotta agree with GK, don't give it all to 1 person/group.

I'd suggest a loot your house style event. Those are usually fun.

Then give the empty tower to a friend, or have a lottery or something for it.

It's simple and it spreads the love.

I would also suggest not dropping the deed for an idoc style event!@
Perhaps you coudl do a deal or no deal
and put up different lots of prizes

IDOC style = mYm or ACE get the loot.
