UO Second Age

The first guild I had joined when I first came to Brittain
were the Protectors of the Virtues. I was ignored, I was
talked down to, and most of all I was underestimated.
We had been searching for any virtue members around the area.
We were making patrols between Covetous Dungeon, Buc's Den,
and the Protectors of Virtue small town.

On the way to complete our third round, we came out of Buc's
Den to see something posted under the sign. Neirro charged
up to it and grabbed it with his huge glove.

Neirro: "Monika! We are wanted dead or alive! We are known as
murderers hahaha!".

"WHAT!?"

Neirro: "Yeah! Look at this!".

Neirro handed me the paper and I read it.

Beware! Two known murderers have been killing between Vesper,
Minoc, and Cove town. They are to be found wanted dead or
alive. - The Order Guard of Brittainia

"Oh well this is just great. Now we can't go to the tavern."

Neirro's estatic smiling suddently turns to a stoic emotion.

Neirro: "Ohhhhh shit!"
We decided it was best to not worry about things now, for we
had a mission. We had to seek out PoV and destroy them and
bring their town down in flames. As we were hidden in their
guildhouse, we saw Tarsen run up then run away. We could not
figure out if he knew we were there or not. So I told
Neirro to stay behind if they came, and I would go see
where he is. I then found Tarsen, the one we had found
earlier by the blacksmith shop. Well, he wasn't laughing
now to say the least. I chased him all around the bank, but
I eventually lost him in the swamps.
I then came back and we were waiting for any of them to
show up. Out of curiosity I read the house sign that was
behind me.

This house has been purchased by the Protectors of Virtue
but is temporarly unstable due to poor foundations. Do
not enter.

Well it was pretty obvious what my next step was. I bought
some explosion potions off their own shop. And used them
to burn the house down completely. We then got in tough
with a carpenter who we payed to build a new house there.
Everything was set, we now had officially infiltrated their
town and could always keep a steady eye on them and their
normal routines.

I did think about the chance of retaliation against our new
little outpost. But then I thought to myself, doing that
would go against everything they beileve in. Which therefore
would be the end of the Protectors of the Virtues. So I was
confident they would think we would just go away.

Soon after that Blade and Maleus had showed up, both of them
virtue members. The battle had begun and was a fair 2v2.
Although it was ended quickly as we decided to go after
Maleus. Blade had deadly poisoned weapons at his disposal, so
we figured it would just be quicker to kill the mage, Maleus.
When we charged Maleus he tried to fight us but was quickly
disposed of.
After Maleus fell to the ground. Me and Neirro didn't say a
word we just were looking around in all directions.
Neirro: "Where in the hell did he go? Did he really just let
his guildmate die like that? HAHAHAHA".

"It would seem so. What a horrible way to die. To be
betrayed by your own kind."

Neirro: "This is starting to get to easy."

"Yeah, I guess it kinda is heh."

We decided to make some more rounds since it seemed we
could not be stopped. We came across a warrior known as
Martin X. I have come to respect him completely. Our
duel lasted a long time but we both realized we could
not defeat the other.
So we accepted the draw and peacefully parted ways.
We then decided to kill anyone in the vicinity of their town.
A lone guard by the name of Phillip was chasing us trying
to apprehend us. Instead of killing him we just stood there
and made fun of him.

Then our house was completed and had a more comfortable
place to spy on our enemies.
We finally got so bored we couldn't find any virtue members
whatsoever that we trashed their place as well. I wasn't as
fond of the idea but Neirro was all about it. It got so bad
to the point of no return, about halfway through I stopped
feeling bad. I guess it could of been much worse.
"Neirro I think it is time for us to go our seperate ways for
now. We need to complete our training. Let us meet in 5 days
time to begin phase two of our training. I'll see you then."

Neirro: "That's fine, I have some things I have to take
care of anyways. Going to go hunt down magikal monsters to
increase my resistance to their spells."

Neirro: "I guess this all is really happening isn't it?
Sometimes it all feels to unreal."

"Quite".

Neirro: "Bah! I am starting to talk like you now!! I'M OUT
OF HERE!"

I smiled and laughed as I nodded once. We then went our
seperate ways for now.

We agreed not to fight anymore until our skills were perfected
and mastered. Because from here on out, the battles are only
going to get more difficult.

Later that night I snuck into Brittain and grabbed the rest
of my gold I had saved up. I bought a small house by the
water where I would recover my wounds. I have abused my
body for so long now and never given myself a chance to heal.

It was time to sleep. Then train, then sleep some more.
