Hi, can someone explain me why all the ores are the same in terms of ar? shouldnt an ore like for example valorite give more ar than iron?
I think all the ores should be different, that would give a good boost on our economy, what do you guys think?

It did post-UO:Renaissance, but not in T2A. It was purely cosmetic.
For some reason (well, I guess for cosmetic reasons), the special ores do sell for more than regular ore or ingots.

Back in the T2A days, Colored Ore was only for "looks" and nothing else. It's just how the game was back then. So this won't be changing. Later on in UO:R and beyond, they made Colored Armor actually grant specific bonuses.
But people still pay more for colored ore than regular stuff! So it's still a good investment to dig up Valorite & Verite!
