how i need wrestling

i m a mager and as i see many mager have gm wrestling skill... why? whats the advantages of that skill?

Aye wrestling reduces your chance of being disrupted while casting a spell, since while casting you are unarmed. Think of it as kung-fu. Your using your hands to deflect blows while chanting your spell mantra.

Whenever someone attacks you with a physical attack (either using a weapon or just bare fists) a weapon check calculation is performed.

The formula to calculate an opponent's chance to hit you is as follows:

( Attacker's Weapon Ability + 50 ) ÷ ( [Defender's Weapon Ability + 50] x 2 ) = Hit Chance * 100

So if they are GM swords and you have 0 wrestling, they have a 100% chance to hit you. If you had GM wrestling, their chance to hit (your chance to dodge) is 50%. Dodging a hit = not being interrupted during spell cast.

Having 0 wrestling versus someone with a fast weapon means you're gonna have a really tough time casting any spell without getting interrupted.

question may be stupid .. but does wres. only effect disrupt for melee damage or both melee and magic damage .. (if i don't ask i can't answer others) .. my thought was melee only ..
